Here you will find an expression of my love for a fellow human being, yet even though I will always love Her, these pages are dedicated to all lovers, and for your enjoyment.</p> <h1 align="center">Philip Bailey, A short Biography</h1> <p><img src="/pcom/graph/phill.jpg" width=219 height=200 hspace=3 vspace="10" border=0 align="right" alt="Philip Bailey">I was born in Dartford, Kent in 1954, and from an early age have enjoyed poetry and literature in general. Writing my first poem at the age of eight, I have always had a strong artistic side, which later lead me to train as an actor.</p> <p>This lead to many enjoyable years touring in the UK. Concentrating mainly on children's theatre, which of course meant Pantomime at Christmas, touring in the spring and autumn and a residential season during the summer.</p> <br clear="all"> <p><img src="graph/maureen.jpg" width=250 height=190 hspace=3 border=0 align="left" alt="Maureen">That was until 1985, when I spent the summer season at Ayr on the west coast of Scotland. One night I went out to a night club looking for female company and met Maureen. Well it was love at first sight, and less than 36 Hours later I proposed and Maureen accepted, which lead me to start writing poetry again.</p> <p>I still live in an Ayrshire Village about five miles from Troon, which golf fans will know as one of the venues which hosts the Scottish Open.
